We are so excited to announce a new Halcyon model for our clients…The Halcyon Stay! This tiny home model was designed as the perfect getaway home or vacation rental property. Unlike our other models that are designed for long-term living, the Halcyon Stay is designed for maximum enjoyment in shorter term stays. Looking to add a revenue stream to your current property with a short term rental home? Or interested in a cabin on the lake to escape to in the summer? This is exactly what we’ve designed the Halcyon Stay for.
There has been an explosion of short-term rental revenue properties over the last number of years with the boom of companies such as Airbnb and VRBO.
There is so much intrigue and fascination with tiny homes, that choosing a tiny home as your revenue property is a great way to pull more value out of your property. Fritz Tiny Homes can be available on skids or wheels and with different legal building designations for maximum flexibility, helping you in your income generating goals.
In our Halcyon 1, 2 and Lux designs, we thought through every detail of what you need to LIVE comfortably. With the Halcyon Stay, we turned our attention to making sure your experience is maximized without the same needs you have in the long term such as lots of storage space. Don’t worry though, there is still ample storage space and we’ve even designed a luggage storage area so you can unpack and move luggage right out of the way.
Here are some of the key features of the Halcyon Stay:
Floor to ceiling windows. Seriously, this design is all windows so you get the full experience of your stunning surroundings. This model truly brings nature right into your home, so you can find rest in this tiny space, with the big wide world wrapped around you.
Epic fireplace. Depending on the legal building designation, there are regulatory limitations on what kinds of fireplaces can be used in tiny homes. We sourced the most realistic, state-of-the-art fireplace, integrated it into our own custom concrete, and designed the home around it to be a showstopper. The Halcyon Stay includes views of the fireplace and giant windows from literally any corner of the tiny home: from bed, the kitchen, living room and even from the soaker tub!
All one level. The Halcyon Stay is our first 10’6” wide model on all one level (full dimensions: 31’L x 10’6”W x 13’6”H). It includes a living room, kitchen, luxury bathroom and sleeping space. The best part of this model is that it is ultra-adaptable. Each area has pocket sliding doors that you can either leave open for maximum openness and views or close off for privacy.
Adaptability. Speaking of adaptability, we have made this model the most flexible and customizable yet. Because this is your vacation home or vacation rental home, we wanted to make sure that every client could maximize this model by customizing it to individual needs. Here are some examples:
Want a full size kitchen or just a small fridge and stovetop?
Prefer a full size shower instead of the soaker tub?
Do you want full laundry or a smaller stackable option?
Do you want to park your tiny home on skids or have it on wheels?
Do you want the couch turned into a trundle bed so your tiny home sleeps 4?
